Sergio Alfaro, Costa Rican goalkeeper who currently is part of WOSPAC SOCCER Stages, has received good news once again. This week has been called up to take part in to a player’s meeting with the U-17 team of Costa Rica that will be by Spain for 2 weeks until April 29.

The “ticos”, will be concentrated in the city of Valencia, and will come to prepare for the next U-17 World Cup which will be held next year in South Korea. During this concentration they will play friendly matches, with the aim of preparing better and cohesionate the team. The rivals who will face the Central American country will be: the U-17 Spanish National Team Valencia CF U-17, Elche CF U-17 and Shanghai Shenhua FC U-17.

This call up is a big step forward for Sergio, than with just 15 years will be part of the concentration of the U-17 Team of his country, the only one of them playing out of Costa Rica, in order to prove himself to a higher level and analyze its conditions in order to be part of the World Cup team next year. The great work done over these months and years in WOSPAC and the huge progression experienced on the goal, led him to this huge prize.
